Check Out The First Pic Of Margot Robbie As Sharon Tate

The resemblance is uncanny.

Margot Robbie has given fans a sneak peek at her upcoming role in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The film is set against the backdrop of the 1969 Manson Family murders, but focuses on the story of a Western TV actor who lives next door to Sharon Tate, the cult's most high profile victim.

Margot will be playing the role of Tate, the actress and then-wife of Roman Polanski, joining co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Burt Reynolds and Al Pacino.

We've already seen a glimpse of Leo and Brad in costume, and today Margot shared the first look of herself as Sharon Tate.

Truly, it's pretty spot on.

Tate, who was best known professionally for her role as Jennifer North in the film adaptation of Valley of the Dolls, was 26-years-old and eight-and-a-half months pregnant with the couple's son when she was brutally murdered by the Manson cult.

The film was originally slated for release in the USA on the 50th anniversary of the LaBianca murders, one day after Tate was killed, but has since been moved to July 26, 2019.
