Tom Holland "Accidentally" Leaked The Next Spider-Man Title

But what does it all mean?

In what's fast becoming Tom Holland's signature move, the young actor "accidentally" leaked some major news over the weekend.

In a video posted to his Instagram, the 22-year-old star of Spider-Man: Homecoming told fans he was sorry he didn't have any big announcements for them.

Broadcasting from a hallway somewhere at the ACE Seattle Comic-Con on Saturday, Holland told fans, "I wanted to apologise that there's no real revelations coming out this weekend about Spider-Man 2".

Then he "accidentally" revealed the title of the sequel to the Spidey solo flick to be Spider-Man: Far From Home.

The video, which received over 1.5 million likes on Instagram in less than 24 hours, is most definitely an adorable stunt, and wouldn't be the first time Tom has "accidentally" leaked info to fans via social media.

Back in March Holland posted a live video for fans where he unboxed a gift from fellow Avengers: Infinity War co-star Mark Ruffalo, showing off the poster before pulling out a note with "CONFIDENTIAL" written on the back.

Fans are already speculating what Far From Home could mean, considering the events at the end of Infinity War (which if you haven't seen... well it's been out for months, you can't be mad at us for spoiling it now?) meant Spidey bit the dust. Literally, he turned into a pile of dust at the end of the film.

Obviously SOMETHING has to happen in the still untitled Avengers 4 to bring Spidey back in some capacity, but until then we'll just have to wonder exactly how far from home Spidey will be.
