Hailey Baldwin Reveals Insecurity Struggle: "I’m Hurting"

Hailey Baldwin/Bieber has opened up about her struggles to fans over social media, vowing to be "more authentic" in 2019.

Sharing a raw post to her 'gram, the 22-year-old spoke out about suffering from confidence issues and anxiety, insisting to followers that "no matter how amazing life may look from the outside, I struggle."

"I’m insecure, I’m fragile, I’m hurting, I have fears, I have doubts, I have anxiety, I get sad, I get angry," she captioned the snap.

"I have had more days than I can count where I’ve found myself scrolling through Instagram comparing myself, comparing my looks, feeling like I’m not good enough, feeling like I lack so many things and really struggling to be confident in who I am because I constantly feel like I’m just not good enough," she said, adding: "every day is a confidence battle for me."

The model, who married Justin Bieber last year, urged fellow women to support each other rather than criticise one another.

“God made us individuals for a reason, with our own beauty, our own personalities, and our own story because there’s a specific plan and purpose for each and every human created and he makes no mistakes,” Baldwin said.

"So this year I’m gonna do my very best to just be ME and be confident with who I am. Cause I am enough, and I’m loved, and you are enough and you’re loved," she concluded.

The emotional post comes after she revealed that she -- like many other celebs -- take regularly takes "mini-breaks" from social media for her own mental health.

"It's hard to focus on your well being and mental health when each time you open Instagram someone is tearing apart your job, or your relationship or essentially any of the things in your life that are positive," she wrote on an Instagram story last month.

Fans and fellow celebs were quick to support Hails, with Bebe Rexha, Millie Bobby Brown, Patrick Schwarzenegger and husband JB all leaving messages of love for the star.

"This is beautiful hun," Biebs wrote to his wife.
