Celebs Unite To Urge Americans To Vote In Midterms
Celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Gigi Hadid and America Ferrera are making a final push to encourage fans to vote in tomorrow's midterm elections in the US.
Stars are using their outfits, their voices and their social media platforms to implore their fan bases to get to a polling booth tomorrow.
J-Lo uploaded a video to Instagram today in which she passionately encourages her followers to vote in the midterms.
"I know you've been seeing a lot of high profile people post about voting and it's not because we want to get into politics or we think we know it all...we don't.
"We're just human beings -- just like you -- who care about our country and it's future for our children and for the people that we love..."
The model attended a fitting for the Victoria's Secret runway show wearing a white t-shirt that read 'Vote' today.
"Heading to @victoriassecretshow fittings is very exciting!" she wrote.
"And SO IS THE FACT THAT WE GET TO GO VOTE TOMORROW FOR WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO US AND WHAT WE WANT OUR COUNTRY TO LOOK LIKE !!!!!!"
"I urge you all to go to the polls," Leo wrote on Twitter.
Ari urged followers to vote today -- reposting Twitter's reference to her new single, "thank u, next".
Legend has been campaigning in Ohio and urged fans to vote for candidates who "fight gerrymandering".
RiRi gave Florida governor hopeful Andrew Gillum another shout out -- plugging his rally featuring Diddy tonight.
