Mac Miller's Cause Of Death Has Been Determined

Mac Miller died in September at the age of 26, and today, the suspected overdose has been confirmed.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed that the rapper died of an apparent accidental overdose from mixed drug toxicity. There was fentanyl and cocaine in his system, as well as alcohol.

The report went on to say that he was "blueish" when his personal assistant found him face down around midday in his San Fernando Valley home.

When the assistant found Mac, he was unresponsive, and the report stated that he was in "a praying position" on his bed. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

TMZ reported that while the dose of each drug would not have been lethal in itself, the combination of drugs was what caused the overdose.

Mac Miller -- real name Malcom McCormick -- struggled with substance abuse and was arrested for a DUI in May, shortly after his break up from Ariana Grande. At the time, Ariana tweeted "Pls take care of yourself", and in the wake of his death, stated that they "talked about" the possibility of him overdosing many times.
