Sarah Jessica Parker And Kim Cattrall Are NOT In A Cat Fight, Thank You Very Much

Sarah Jessica Parker has set the record straight about her ongoing saga with her former 'Sex and the City' co-star Kim Cattrall.

To catch you up quickly, Kim's been pretty open about the fact that she's no fan of SJP.

After years of off-screen disagreements and Kim's refusal to sign on for a third Sex and the City film, it was the death of Kim's brother that prompted her to go public with her dislike for SJP, when Sarah offered her condolences for her loss.

In a new interview with Extra, SJP denied that she was actually a part of this feud.

“If one more person calls this a catfight… I’m not in a fight,” she said. “I never fought with Kim.“

Addressing the rumours that she tried to mend her relationship with Kim by sending an apology gift, SJP said it never happened, explaining: “I don’t have to send any gifts to Kim because I’ve never done anything".

She went on to add: “She has felt perfectly comfortable to say lots of things -- that’s the beauty of living in a democracy -- but I have no apologies, meaning, this isn’t a catfight.”

The shade of it all continued, as Sarah threw the blame of the blow-up back on Kim for taking it public in the first place.

“This is someone who chose to talk about something and myself, I remain grateful for her work and the role she played on and off camera for all the years we spent together,” she said.

And in case you're still holding onto a glimmer of hope that the Sex and the City 3 project may still come to fruition, don't hold your breath.

Asked whether talks for the threequel were still going, Sarah said that she'd "not had any".

“We went as far as we could last time and the studio said, ‘No, we can’t meet those demands,'” she explained. “We were all signed up except for her.”

She finished: “What are you going to do, right?”
