Celebrities React To Synagogue Shooting, Repeat Calls For Gun Control

Celebrities have reacted to the latest mass shooting in the United States and are urging President Trump to tighten gun control laws.

At least 11 people were killed by a gunman after he opened fire in a Pittsburgh synagogue today while shouting anti-Semitic slurs.

Celebrities including Tom Hanks, Ben Stiller, Reese Witherspoon, Mandy Moore and Ellen DeGeneres have responded to the mass shooting on Twitter.

In response to the mass shooting, President Trump said the tragedy had "little to do" with gun laws and that the "result would have been far better" if worshippers at the synagogue had been armed.

High-profile celebrities have hit out at Trump's comments and urged their followers to make their voices heard at the upcoming mid-term elections.
