Britney Spears And Kevin Federline Settle Child Support Dispute

After a months-long battle, Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline have reportedly reached an agreement in their child support case.
K-Fed -- who previously received USD$20k a month from the pop star -- had asked for $60,000 a month in child support.
Kevin's lawyers alleged that he was earning around $3,000 a month (he's apparently a DJ these days), whereas, Miss Brit's career was thriving and she was bringing in a chill USD$34 million a year.

The 40-year-old father of six -- who shares sons Sean Preston and Jayden James with Britney -- said that he was no longer employable in his former career as a backup dancer due to his age.
Britney's lawyers refused to give Kevin his requested $60k, saying that they didn't know where his child support money was going, as Britney paid for everything for her sons, anyway.

After Britney's lawyers offered Kevin a $10k raise, which he rejected, US Weekly reports that the case has been settled and that Britney will now pay her ex-husband $35,000 a month in child support.
US Weekly's source stated that the new agreement “allows Kevin to give the boys a similar lifestyle [to the one] they have when they are with Britney”.
Britney was also recently ordered to pay Kevin's legal fees, which amounted to $100k.
Kevin will stop receiving child support from Britney in September 2024, when Jayden turns 18.
