Claire Foy Was Nearly Denied Entry To Emmys After Party

Claire Foy might have won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama, but security nearly barred her from getting into the official after party, until 'Queer Eye' star Jonathan Van Ness showed up to save the day.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, guards at the Governor’s Ball weren’t about to let her through with a ripped event ticket -- even though she was probably carrying an actual Emmy award with her.

Luckily, Queer Eye's grooming expert Jonathan Van Ness -- wearing an elegant white pantsuit -- materialised to help the actress sweet talk her way into the party.

The pair had met just moments earlier and were taking selfies together on the red carpet.

"Be fabulous, be yourself," Foy told Van Ness as she filmed him.

"I'm mildly freaking out," said the Queer Eye star excitedly. "I want to be British, too, I love you so much."

The pair got into the Governor's Ball and then reportedly both ended up at the Netflix party -- where Tan France reportedly served Foy pizza.

All things just keep getting better!
