Justin Bieber Serenades Hailey Baldwin Outside Buckingham Palace

Because I don't know either.

Her Royal Highness probably got a bit starstruck this week when Justin Bieber decided to busk outside Buckingham Palace, serenading his fianceé Hailey Baldwin this week.

Fans captured Biebs in all his glory playing a handful of songs including a cover of Tracy Chapman's "Fast Car", as well as "Cold Water".

While strumming his guitar Biebs proclaimed, "That girl right there is the love of my life," as Baldwin swooned.

The pair were flanked by fans and photographers capturing what we can only assume was definitely not a planned stunt or anything. We're not cynics! You are!

The performance comes just days after speculation that the pair have tied the knot already -- with Baldwin's uncle Alec announcing on the Emmy Awards red carpet that Biebs and Balds "went off and got married".

"I don't know what the deal is," he said adding, "We text Hailey every now and then, we met [Justin] one time".

We tried to get to the bottom of the marriage rumours, and from what we can glean it looks like the pair went and got a marriage license but didn't go the whole hog. That explains why, after reports began to surface of the pair tying the knot, Baldwin tweeted, "I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I'm not married yet!"

To make matters even more confusing the model then deleted the tweet, adding to speculation that they potentially may have gone through with the whole thing.

There's also another camp who believe the pair DID actually go through with the civil ceremony but that the 21 and 24 year-olds don't believe they're "really" married until they have their "proper" wedding. So, okay! That's a thing, we guess.

Still, check out ol' mate Biebs rockin' his best royal tie-die as he serenades the crowd in the video above.
