Celebrities And Fans React To Burt Reynolds' Death

The screen legend died at age 82 on Thursday.

Celebrities and fans have been sharing tributes to Burt Reynolds, Hollywood legend, after learning of his death at age 82.

Reynolds was known for his roles in Deliverance and Smokey and the Bandit and, according to his manager Erik Kritzer, died Thursday morning at Jupiter Medical Center in Florida.

Reynolds was nominated for an Oscar for his role in Boogie Nights and from 1978-82 he became Hollywood's top grossing star.

He was set to star in Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood where he would play George Spahn, owner of the ranch where the Mason family lived.

Many celebrities have posted tributes to the actor following the news of his death on social media, calling him a hero, a trailblazer and and inspiration.
