Emma Stone Can’t Imagine Life Without Ryan Gosling
Stone is currently promoting her new film, The Favourite, at the Telluride Film Festival.
Emma Stone has opened up about her friendship with co-star Ryan Gosling at the 45th annual Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, US Magazine reports.
During a Q & A session at the revered festival, Stone commented that she couldn’t even “imagine what my life would be without Ryan”.
“He’s so special. It makes me emotional,” she said of her Crazy, Stupid, Love co-star -- the film in which the pair recreated an iconic Dirty Dancing scene.
“He’s so talented but he’s such a great person to work with because he’s so collaborative and excited about the process,” Stone said of their on-screen chemistry.
“He’s taught me a lot about being really generous.”
Stone and Gosling have also worked together on La La Land and Gangster Squad.
Stone is attending Telluride in support of her new film -- The Favourite -- and also received the festival’s silver medallion for her “contribution to the world of cinema”.
“I hope this isn’t a lifetime achievement award,” Stone joked on stage.
All eyes are currently on the films debuting at Telluride -- the festival has played host to the North American debut screenings of eight Best Picture winners at the Academy Awards in the last decade.
