Sia Reveals How A Run-In With Trump Gave Her The S**ts
But you won't see me fall apart / 'Cause I've got an elastic shart.
Sia Furler isn't well known for providing too much information, in fact the recording artist has made a career out of separating herself from her performances.
Hiding her face through wigs, hats, proxy dancers and often literally standing in the shadows, the 42-year-old Aussie singer-songwriter turned her back on what it meant to be a performer.
She revealed to Kirsten Wiig for Interview that the reason she decided to begin hiding her face came from a want for control, "I’m trying to have some control over my image," she said, "and I’m allowed to maintain some modicum of privacy".

"But also I would like not to be picked apart or for people to observe when I put on ten pounds or take off ten pounds or I have a hair extension out of place or my fake tan is botched."
While her signature brand of stepping out of the limelight was a unique choice, there's no denying that it was working for her. In 2015 Sia was invited to perform on Saturday Night Live three times -- in one episode hosted by US President Donald Trump.
Recounting the filming in a profile for Rolling Stone, Sia remembered Trump finding her backstage asking her for a photo.
According to the Chandelier singer she quickly responded, "Actually, do you mind if we don’t? I have a lot of queer and Mexican fans, and I don’t want them to think that I support your views."
Apparently Trump had no problem being turned down with Sia believing he saw her decision as "protecting [her] brand".
But the brief run-in caused some runs of their own...
“I was like, ‘Thank you so much,’ ” she told Rolling Stone before adding, “and then I went into my dressing room and had crazy diarrhoea.”
Truly a queen of the people.
