Um, Azealia Banks Said She Was At Elon Musk's House 'For Days' Waiting For Grimes

Musk has since denied ever even meeting Banks.

Strap in, kids, this is a wild ride from start to finish.

Azealia Banks, known to dip her toe in a controversy or two, recently hopped on Twitter to let the world know that she was putting the finishing touches on her album Fantasea II: The Second Wave.

All she was waiting on was to connect with the synth-pop queen Grimes, who just so happens to be dating SpaceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Both artists had been open in the past about their desire to work together, and recently Banks had said that she was just putting the finishing touches on the album with just two songs to finish, including one that would see her flying to LA to work with Grimes.

So THIS WEEKEND Banks hopped onto Instagram to post a series of text-posts to her story detailing her time at Musk's house, saying she was there for days alone, before launching into some really wild allegations.

The recording artist claimed she was staying at the house while Musk and Grimes were on acid, calling the experience a "real life episode of Get Out".

This weekend Musk tweeted that he planned to sell Tesla short shorts, then followed it up with a series of wild tweets including just the words "S3XY" and "Unis3x".

Banks also spoke to Business Insider via Instagram DM where she alleged she witnessed Musk "scrounging for investors to cover his ass" after he tweeted his plans to take Tesla private.

WELL because it's 2018, Elon Musk -- man who shoots things into space and also sells flamethrowers and, apparently, booty shorts -- has responded to the claims that he was tweeting on LSD all weekend.

Speaking to Gizmodo via Twitter DM (honestly, 2018 is bizarre) Musk said he "had never even met [Banks] or communicated with her in any way".

So there you go. You're all caught up, and probably more confused than the aliens who'll come across the short shorts Musk is likely to blast into orbit in a few months time.
