You know her from Game of Thrones but now Natalie Dormer is stepping into one of the world's other biggest franchises -- the Wizarding World.

Pottermore, J.K. Rowling's official site for news relating to the world of Harry Potter, announced on Friday that the actor has been recording an audiobook called Harry Potter: A History of Magic.

The website describes A History of Magic as "an original non-fiction audiobook that reveals hidden stories from real-world magic and how some of its ancient objects, manuscripts and spells influenced the Harry Potter stories".

The audiobook won't just focus on invisibility spells and Chinese oracle bones but will also shed light on the development of the Harry Potter series by looking at the archives of Rowling and her publishers.

Releasing on October 4, Harry Potter: A History of Magic coincides with the opening of an exhibition of the same name at the New York Historical Society.

So, if you're getting a little impatient waiting for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald in November, you can satiate your Harry Potter cravings with this new magical addition.

You can pre-order Harry Potter: A History of Magic on Audible now.
