Kanye West’s Father Diagnosed With Prostate Cancer

It comes just months after the 10-year anniversary of his mother's death.

Kanye West has "dropped everything to help his dad" upon hearing the news that his father Ray has been diagnosed with cancer, according to TMZ.

After initial reports claimed that Ray was being treated for stomach cancer, sources close the Kanye have revealed that the rapper’s dad is, in fact, being treated for prostate cancer in Los Angeles.

While the rapper's father is responding well to treatment and is said to “be okay”, the news comes just months after the 10-year anniversary of the death of Yeezy’s beloved mother, Donda West, and just weeks after news that 'Ye has been battling health problems of his own.

The "Lift Yourself" singer has recently tweeted about his ongoing sinus problems, and just last week he was rushed to the emergency room by wife Kim Kardashian when his flu symptoms took a turn for the worse.

“I had a sinus headache on a flight once and I got a fucking cat scan after because it was so bad,” West tweeted on July 14.

It’s been a trying couple of months mentally for the controversial star, who recently told fans he suffers from bipolar disorder and that he had suicidal thoughts in the past -- revealing he “connected” with the late designer Alexander McQueen while watching his documentary.

Ray and Donda West divorced when Kanye was just a child, however, the family remained amicable over the years.

We wish Ray a speedy recovery!
