Khloe Kardashian Apologises For Using The R-Word: "I Will Do Better"
Fans weren't happy when Koko dropped an offensive term on Instagram Live.
Khloe Kardashian has apologised to fans after dropping the ‘R’ word during a live stream on her ‘gram.
Sweating out alongside sis Kourtney Kardashian and their trainer, Kourt appeared to have trouble syncing her phone with Koko’s, to which the new mum exclaimed: "Yes, you can, you f***ing r****d."
And as Kourtney continued to struggle with the technology, Khloe yelled, "Are you f***ing r****ded?"
One Twitter fan was quick to call out reality star for using the offensive term, telling the star, “If True had a disability you would use a different word.”
Taking the fan's caution to heart, the 34-year-old replied, "Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that? You are a million percent right and I actually greatly dislike when people use that word! I will do better! I am sorry! much love today. "
While many praised Khloe for recognising and owning up to her mistake, others weren’t quite convinced she was genuine.
“Now this is the way you are accountable for your actions and apologise. Much respect to you for realising what you said was wrong and owning up to it!” wrote one follower.
“Little girl me used to try as best as I could to defend my Brother who has severe Autism. The R-word is as bad as the N-word in our family. You don't say it because it's never in your vocabulary... ever," another said.
The drama comes following Khloe making the move back home to California to be with her family after living in Cleveland with newborn daughter True and boyfriend Tristan Thompson, who plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
“I’m over the moon about being home! Of course, I missed my actual house immensely while I was in Cleveland -- there’s nothing like enjoying your own home,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star wrote on her website Thursday.
“I’m most excited about being so close to my family. Getting the kids together and having True do all of her classes with her cousins is a great feeling!” she added.
